@philwaring@mastodon.lol @richieholland@ravenation.club It's all about finding the right instance. I think lol is intended as a progressive safe space, so people there may not be keen to discuss (let alone debate) politics. On mindly, anything political is supposed to go behind a CW.
There will be instances that cater to those looking for a frank exchange of views, but finding them might not be all that easy just yet.
