"We autistics are all abled... differently. Even as we all are autistic.
Maybe…
I’m on the curve of all shades of non-speakers.
From the silence of the intellectually challenged, non-verbally intelligent, burnt out, and situationally mute.
To the hyper-articulation of our neurodivergent academics… and poets.
But we’re learning that nearly all of us communicate… in our ways.
My actions. Even my meltdowns... and my injuries. Screams... when words fail.
If others will only listen. Before I'm pushed past my limits.
Maybe…
We can all live autistically out loud… in our ways.
Begging for accommodations?
I feel like I'm panhandling on the street. Tourists have all the power. All I can do is perform for their pleasure.
Walk away.
Freedom is never given. It is lived. Out loud.
Cuz i always deserved it."
These are raw thoughts I'm entertaining.
I could use your input.
