#Trump has come up with the solution to the Palestinian question - the US will take over #Gaza and throw the current inhabitants out - so much for decolonization. I recently came across this newspaper article about my grandfather in 1952 when he was working with Palestinian refugees in Jordan. Decolonization was a big issue back then. It seems like we haven't progressed much since.
Why is #Denmark not criticizing #Trump's plans regarding #Greenland very much?
One issue may be one of investments. The Danish royal family has wealth in fund which of which the top 9 stocks are US American[2]. Only 3 stocks among top 20 are European (ASML, Schneider, Allianz).
The Danish royal family wins if Trump favors US American companies. Norwegian pension fund: same thing [3].

#Trump now saying the US may use military force to take #Greenland in order to protect it. Unfortunately that shows that the Greenlandic PM is wrong when he says that 56000 Greenlanders can run their own country independently - the #USA will simply invade them. Maybe this is the time to call China and have them open that naval base in Greenland or, alternatively, for Greenland to join the #EU.
So much for Trump working against the military-industrialist complex.

Surprise, surprise - electricity prices in Southern Sweden have surged again. I hope that all efforts have been made to insulate every house and office and replace electric heaters with more cost efficient alternatives. We all knew this was going to happen eventually.
This came in the mail today. I'll be the man reading a book at a children's birthday party (in the background) while the other adults go around shooting each other with kalashnikovs.
