Joël

Bonjour everyone! I'm Joël, a 27-year-old #historian (he/him) from the #Netherlands #Limburg Living in #Brussels and working in #Leuven for a #heritage #museum #glam I'm into #languages and will be posting in #Nederlands #Francais #English My toots will probably be mostly about #writing #reading #digitalminimalism #identity #podcasts #simpleliving and #art as I paint with #watercolor #oil #acrylic and I am into #photography In my spare time I play #jazz and #funk on the #trombone or listen to my #vinyl collection. #Introduction #newhere

Notice that I don't always know what to post here. Thoughts go through my head like: 'how do I want to be perceived on #mastodon ?', 'how can I be original?', 'should I focus on one specific subject?' But that's exactly why I'm here. So I don't need to fit the mold, but to just post whatever I feel like. To find a like-minded community. To beat all the toxic ways-of-thinking that social media thought me in the first place. Is that recognisable? How do you all deal with that? #fediverse #slow #intentional #introduction #authenticity
