@gedeonm@mastodon.social I just requested an expedited review. We’ll see if that knocks it loose.

@_the_cloud@mastodon.social @drdrang@fosstodon.org @mjtsai@mastodon.social @bgeerdes@mastodon.cloud @gruber@mastodon.social 1987 HIG refers to default button in the lower right.

@ironicsans@mastodon.social If it’s an option, Paxlovid seemed to help. Aside from that, isolation and rest. I watched a lot of movies.

@technicat@universeodon.com @neuralex@neurodifferent.me Yes, it's vitally important to use tint to indicate clickability, which was anathema to the HiG back in the day. And I hate the feeling that if I can just dance good enough, the UI will notice me and reward me with a scroll bar. If there's a balance between Don Norman's visual affordances and Ed Tufte's computer administrative debris, Apple's recent thinking is tilted strongly toward the latter.

@neuralex@neurodifferent.me @technicat@universeodon.com I mind flat a lot less than I mind inconsistency and non-responsiveness. I think Jony was aiming for the conceptual unification of hw and sw, instead of sw being something presented on the hw. It's just a physical device, but one that morphs contextually to my current need. There's an elegance in that approach that invokes Bang & Olufsen. But the touch-sensitive "buttons" on a Beocenter let me know that I’d touched them, and they didn't jump around for no apparent reason.

@mh@mastodon.sdf.org @technicat@universeodon.com @neuralex@neurodifferent.me tbh, I’d forgotten that was there.

@neuralex@neurodifferent.me @DJDarren@mendeddrum.org Lol. Behold the Open Web.

@samlitzinger@journa.host That’s a whole lotta words to repeat an obvious lie, and little to no effort to find an expert that can explain what actually went wrong.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social I started and deleted three replies to what I’m pretty sure is one of the posts you’re referring to, but I think your response is probably the best one.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social Yes, status quickly changed to “in review” but stuck there since Tuesday morning. iOS approved yesterday.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social No joy in Mudville. No reply to expedite request. Sent a separate message via email form on developer site.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social They replied to inform me it was too ready for distribution. I replied back with screen shots that say otherwise. Progress of a sort.

@mortengregersen@mastodon.social @simonbs@mastodon.social Expedited appears to be back. Went into review about a minute after I requested it.
