Futurist Jim Carroll

@touk@smores.town A real futurist!

@beyondwatts@beyondwatts.social @claesdevreese@mastodon.social @communicationscholars@a.gup.pe Ya, I saw a toot about this earlier; if true, my poll from last week is wildly out of date! This thing has momentum!

@mac@jawns.club Covered that here. Most companies are on a path trying to get key employees back to the office. Return to work is the beating drum. The problem is that many of those key employees – highly skilled, in huge demand – have tasted freedom, and don’t want to go back. And in the context of trend #8 – Knowledge Velocity – they are in the ‘driver’s seat.’ https://jimcarroll.com/2022/12/23-trends-for-2023-9-entrenched-workback-pushback/

@qjurecic@mastodon.social It's like Mastodon suddenly supernova'd tonight. I have the same feeling. It's happening here.

@LMAOYEEN@pounced-on.me @joe@toot.works I just did that.! Virtual box on osx to house a linux ubuntu box in which a home assistant container lives.
