Left the (former) bird app almost 6 weeks ago and my account is gone now entirely. From a business perspective it’s a loss but it’s done and gone now. 🤷♂️
While I fully respect a person’s right to privacy, the carbon footprint left by people like Taylor & Elon etc. — at times on short flights purely for the sake of convenience — is far greater than the entire carbon footprint of the average person in a year. We all make compromises and being called out for ridiculous behaviour on unnecessary short flights is fair

I am in no way surprised by any of it. Stupidity x impulsivity x rabid hatred = a pretty toxic recipe. Have to commend all the guards who put themselves in harms way to try stop pure thuggery.

It’s taken me three years to make a colour version of this shot that reflected the image I was trying to capture. I had to balance the tungsten light from the town against the faint blue light in the sky, and I’m really happy with the outcome of yesterday’s efforts.

Are there many landscape photographers here? Really want to find a space that’s more about the work than about the follows and likes. Reels be damned.
