Casual reminder to maybe turn on partial match warnings in #rstats

It only hurts in a way that forces you to not to rely on accidentally getting what you want while risking silent failure.

@hagen@mastodon.social even if Immich was encrypted, I don’t want to be responsible for my friends‘ or family‘s images. Same goes for nextcloud for example, which I gave up on. Imagine fucking up the backup strategy of your NAS and your friends lose all their pictures. And then you have ongoing costs for server stuff, so you ask for money or eat the cost? If you take money you’re effectively a service provider with actually responsibility.
