@FediGarden@social.growyourown.services https://fedipact.veganism.social/ is also useful, it reports which instances are and aren't blocking threads

An interactive list to see which ActivityPub (Matodon, Lemmy, FireFish, etc) instances are federating with Threads.net

That's one difference between Meta and an average neolibertarian instance admin. Other differences are that Meta has been more successful at helping authoritarian regimes take power than most instance admins, has a business model based on exploiting people's data non-consensually, a track record of breaking the law (including racial discrimination in ads) ... as well as involvement involvement multiple genocides, including Rohingya. Opinions differ on whether or not that's a reason for defederation, but the differences are very real. In any case, I don't think Meta's federating will destroy the fediverse, more likely we'll see a schism of some kind ... if so, it'll be for the best. @wonkeythemonkey@mastodon.social @FediTips@social.growyourown.services

Yep. Although I think their strategy is more likely to be embrace-extend-exploit -- decentralized surveillance capitalism FTW! https://privacy.thenexus.today/embrace-extend-and-exploit/ @enby_of_the_apocalypse@kolektiva.social @wonkeythemonkey@mastodon.social @FediTips@social.growyourown.services
