Beat my PR by a minute or so. Finished a 9 week training plan with the Runna app. I really love #running

I really need to find a job I don’t hate before I retire.
One part of me would like to have a Light Flip, but another part of me says that this is just another Gen-z artisanal early aughts tech trend. I still think that deleting apps and turning off notifications is seriously underrated.

Bodybuilders are just fat people with muscles.
I don’t need a dream job, I just need a job that pays a bit more than 18 an hour and doesn’t make me angry everyday.

@paburu@social.linux.pizza Mine took a while to ship as well because I ordered it during the Lunar New Year celebration. It was still worth the wait though.
Just saw Gladiator II and have concluded that Pedro Pascal is not one of the greats. He is still precious though. In a way, this was a prequel to Training Day.

Damn. So I’ve been waiting for that new Oled display iPad mini, does that mean that the new one will be 799?!!
In Puerto Rico we used the word “Googoolealo”, pronounced “goo goo leah low”. Also, when I “search something up”on ChatGPT I say I “chadded” it, because I call this entity Chad. (Only me and my wife use this as a verb and I understand that this will never catch on, but it should.)

Still upset that I didn’t get the iPad mini 7 for $399 on Amazon.

This is interesting… but I have some theories as to how these kids learned about Luddites. https://www.404media.co/luddite-events-nyc-off-tech-summer-of-ludd/?ref=daily-stories-newsletter

The Revolt Against Technology
I felt a tad bit targeted reading this article. I’m definitely in the “closing the rings” cult, letting sunlight hit my corneas as early as possible as Daddy Hubby commands, and have been increasing my running mileage. I am, without a doubt, healthier, but there is a dark side to all of this. So yeah, I don’t have a ton of friends and I have cut down on alcohol. I’m just not at the level of obsession (I think and hope) that Thompson is naming as the Enhanced Self.

Darndit! I should’ve gotten the iPad mini 7 on Amazon for $399, the price hikes are also reflected in the Prime day sales. Damn you silicon chip gods!

Why are mini mullets popular and will people eventually move up to the Pro Max mullet… unironically.
Email overflow problems at work is one of the most “first world problems” of the 21st century. I’m sorry, but I have zero sympathy for people whose main cause of stress at work is email. Then again, most of my jobs have been utter shit jobs, even the desk jobs.
I realize that the solution to the smartphone problem is not as simple as just deleting apps and turning off notifications. My views on this keep evolving. But I have landed at some ways of being more intentional about how and when I use it.
As a gender normative male heterosexual, having friends, male or female, is hard for me because I prefer to go home and read a book about it.
