Bert Smith, a chemist involved in Laserdisc development, shared fascinating stories about the challenges Philips faced. He explained how the high-quality digital sound on Laserdiscs led to the creation of the CD. The process took 10 years to perfect, with many mistakes along the way, including air bubbles in the glue. We received prototype disks, including a gold half-disk and a transparent layer. There were even plans for a Laserdisc jukebox! We archived it all! Did you have a Laserdisc?

Oh, forgot to mention here. We now have both Aesthedes computers working! Which means, we have 40% of the world's remaining Aesthedes computers and 100% of all remaining working Aesthedes computers. And yes, that's the Coca Cola logo on the left one.

New auctions of our overstock are live! . There will be more in the following days. We are still getting rid of many of the 4th items we own. As a museum, we're sharing stories and not trying to collect as much as possible, only enough to share the story we want to share. So, we're selling off every 4th item to the community for them to enjoy. All money will be used to support the museum as well!
