Helen Chong

Happy 2nd anniversary to my omg.lol membership! To celebrate the occasion, I am happy to announce my new project: PyOmgLol, an unofficial cross-platform client for omg.lol! https://helenchong.dev/blog/posts/2026-09-19-pyomglol-announcement/

🏳️‍🌈 It is Pride Month in my time zone now. Happy Pride Month!

OMG! Thank you @neatnik@social.lol for adding the Catppuccin themes to SourceTube! And thank you @binarydigit@social.lol for suggesting it! What a nice surprise that sharing about my own Git forge migrating to Forgejo and theming my instance with Catppuccin would lead to this.

💻 Migrated all my websites and self-hosted apps to the same VPS instead of splitting some of them into two VPS, and switched from Gitea to Forgejo for hosting my own Git forge (https://git.helenchong.dev/) Thankfully, the Catppuccin theme for Gitea (https://github.com/catppuccin/gitea) works on Forgejo as well.

@neatnik@social.lol Happy Father's Day, Adam!

@binarydigit@social.lol Indeed! While officially the theme's CSS stylesheet was meant for Gitea, since Forgejo is a fork of Gitea, the theme works on Forgejo as well. I love to theme the software I use with Catppuccin, including self-hosted ones.

@neatnik Happy 7th Birthday, omg.lol!

@neatnik@social.lol Congratulations and happy anniversary!

@neatnik@social.lol Thank you so much, Adam!

@neatnik@social.lol Aww, let's take good care of our servers!
