Went for a long run on Sunday. Accidentally turned into a longer one (21.1km, maybe inspired by LDN marathon).
Went to a park I hadn't been to yet this year, it's my favourite for long runs in summer because of the dense trees in the woods. One shot of the canopy, inspired by someone who posts here, but not as bien as theirs.
Out on a walk yesterday around town. Saw some nice symmetry of an office block, took a snap.

After helping to pace a friend to a speedy PB last week, today was officially pacing week.
A nice leisurely pace with some people following me
Followed by cooldown laps and coffee and cake at the café by the lake in the (intense) sun.
Then a long walk with some friends on my way home.
Now resting post-sun.

So much so that friends think I shill for Lidl.
And I don't know how it is there, but Lidl's bakery section over here does possibly the best croissants this side of the French border (at <1/4 of the price of the terrible ones from the "real" bakeries).

I don't always take a phone with me on my runs, but if I do, usually just a quick snap to share with family/friends. I very rarely post them here. But I was running through some nice dense trees and felt inspired.

(that all 3 are different physical sizes and different resolutions is a boundary condition, not of my choosing.

I once thought of making something like this, but I never got around to it.
I would wager I have a very very different score across different parts of the colour spectrum. On some colours I'm completely stumped before halfway through, at others still easy even at the final round.
I would absolutely love a version that's much longer, and builds a mapping of which parts of colour-space are better/worse.

@ifixcoinops just fyi (on the off chance that you (or someone else reading this thread) don't know), the gallons in the US (3.79 l) are smaller than the ones in the UK (4.54 l).
And fuel prices are listed without taxes. So prices *are* much cheaper in the US, but they sound *even cheaper* than they are.

The neighbouring university offers a service for any professor to launch their own diamond open access journal -- the administrative load is taken over for free as a service by the uni.

Curious. I use the SB checkouts regularly at Lidl to buy my daily drinks/lunch items. Only ever had a single card payment request on the card reader per visit. Never noticed anything strange, but haven't looked specifically on a statement.

Lack of snap to the top of the laptop screen is already annoying me.
And no idea where the corners on the 2 big screens are that correspond to the edge of the laptop screen.
I will revert. I think my monstrosity might be the best choice for 3 disparate monitors.

#2 is about 12+ years old (Dell 24", 1920x1200 U2412M).
#3 is newer (Dell 27", 2560x1440, U2724D) and replaced an old 1920x1200 panel I had.
And the laptop is a 14" Thinkpad (1920x1080).
