Regular reminder that it's ok to unfollow people here who appear too negative to you (this obviously includes yours truly as well).
A late entry for #Saturdoom, one of many bands I discovered because someone here recommended them so just trying to spread the word some more.
Ominess travels somewhere between nasty sludge (even death/doom when they go a-chugging) and post-metal. Sometimes it's absolutely crushing while sometimes light seeps in. Great stuff.
Sure, I haven't listened to Jeff Buckley that much but still it was suprising to me that I'd never heard this song until yesterday. Perfect for this #TuneTuesday theme of #UnexpectedDelight as well. What a voice...

You often might see a deer in the local woods and meadows and they sometimes wander to people's yards here, but today was the first time I had to ring my bicycle bell because one was reluctant to move out of my way. 😅 Oh, and I live less than 15 km from central Helsinki.
We do have a small backyard in our semi-detached house here in the suburbs and I'm enjoying the new All Them Witches album but feel like I should be sitting in a rocking chair on a porch looking out to the corn fields instead. ;)

These guys sure like big numbers and rocks - and why the hell not when they have the Riffs to back it up.

There's an Anton Corbijn exhibition in Fotografiska Tallinn I would really like to see.
Me and my partner waited too long to buy tickets to Paradise Lost's Helsinki concert 20 February and now it was sold out.
Paradise Lost plays in Tallinn the following day and there were tickets available.
See where I'm going with this? To Tallinn!
