Mine was “Magic” by Olivia Newton John. Sounds like it set the mood just fine.

I loved Opera for a good couple of years. Came back to it around 2007 and I was shocked at what it became.

This is true. Whoever spent 10 minutes doing this in Canva would have also spent 10 monitors doing this at any stage of history. Of this was from the 80s, it would have been black marker and then 100 copies would have been made.

That’s a lot of words to say you failed the 10 second ask, and that you can’t accept that this is a pointless shitpost.
Do your own 40 week and 9 month count, and I ask, are they the same song? Because mine is. That song was a #1 for 5 weeks. It covers both options, and that might well happen for most people.
It’s just a fun diversion.

Even more environmentally friendly, use a geopolymer cement that doesn’t use a quicklime reaction that requires heat to produce.

Tech she said, definitely wasn’t embassy. What embassy would have Americans and people from the UK working together?

She said she was in tech for some international company getting set up there. I can’t recall the name, but it wasn’t any company I recognized. This was also maybe 20 years ago she would have been there.

It never was a real tweet. All fake, top to bottom.
But I couldn’t figure out how to get people to think this was already a shitpost kind of thing without that. Just a screenshot of text? Boring.

Na, man. This whole story is fire.
First new Olympics outside of Europe held in… St. Louis? In the summer? Ick.
Things were such a mess that only 12 nations showed up.
First ever use of the 3 medal system (gold, silver, bronze).
Tug of War was a legit Olympic sport.
The “Racist Shit” was the incomprehensibly terrible human zoo stuff. Bonus that an Indian Boarding School girls basketball team apparently played. And then they had competitions like “baseball throwing” for the human zoo folks.
This isn’t even worth a movie. A whole season of 6 or 8 one-hour episodes. Easily.

Meanwhile, in Japan in the 80s, they were putting penguin orgies on their mugs.
(There’s also rabbits, whales, and some other animal IIRC)

I once met a woman that was in her late 20s. Worked in tech for 3 years in Prague, and had a pretty TV style British accent.
She was from the Midwest. Spent 3 years in Prague and visited the UK like 3 times, then moved back to Chicago. Insisted she “worked with a lot of Brits and it just stuck.”
Yeah, I’ve worked with a lot of tall people. Didn’t make me grow taller.

This is only how a cold weather person thinks about heat. That’s not how real life works.
One light layer of linen is amazing. Your body does the work on its own. Touregs in the Sahara wear a light layer of light fabric. Look at Saudis and the traditional outfit. Italy in the summer. All similar. All perfectly comfortable.

How fortunate would we all be to have the glorious HP CMYK following through our veins?

Technically, Game of Thrones is based on a true story, since it was based on the 100 Years War.
It doesn’t mean “non-fiction.” It just means the idea was based on something non-fiction.

Right. So, I’m a privacy advocate, and there’s a looooooot of conspiracy theory stuff like this out there. Yes, there are real versions of this, but companies are also notoriously cheap. There’s a point of diminishing returns on how many components they’re going to slap on a board in hopes of netting data on 1000 more users. Something that costs 2 cents more per board will go into millions of devices and cost hundreds of thousands over a production run… To net $30,000 of data? Experiments usually fizzle based on that math. They’re very often glad to have the fools that connect the TV themselves, which is an increasing proportion of consumers, I think about 65%+ of them last I checked. They’re already eating well without getting overly silly and crazy about how these things work.

Amen, brother. Jack is the Walmart MacDonald’s of brown liquor. I would rather drink mystery booze from a water bottle distilled by a guy with no teeth in his Mom’s back yard.

Is there evidence of that? Or is this also like saying an unconnected TV might be slipped the WiFi password by a connected dishwasher through a series of ultrasonic beeps? Sure, not impossible, but also not likely in every home.

Can you imagine being the person that got paid to take this bad boy on the road for 10,000 miles? That’s nearly once around the world. MFer probably took this chair from Alaska to Chile along the Pacific Coast.

Every time I’ve been to Italy in the summer, north or south, everyone is in summer uniform. Same in Greece, but obviously the Italian version was fancier.
Unless… Are you an 80 year old man wearing polyester and wool and a vest and a hat in August on the farm?
Seriously, though, any search online for summer Italian wear is usual light clothing.

It’s not a legally binding term - it can be used sarcastically, or as a plot device. Has someone been murdered in North Dakota ever? Close enough to count for Fargo. Is the Fargo show based on the movie that was released named Fargo? Maybe that’s what 2 writers thought up at 3:42am on a Tuesday. WHo knows.
Specifically with Coyote v. Acme, it’s one of those “no reasonable person would interpret this as being real” standard. It’s a cartoon coyote. It’s a joke. It should make you laugh because it’s obviously not based on a true story.
You can’t possibly understand that Fargo using it was a form of dark humor and then expect that a movie about a cartoon coyote should be based on a true story, right? What is this cognitive dissonance?

If the movie Tron were true, or The Matrix, and code was alive and sentient, things like this would be horror on the level of the Star Trek: TMP transporter accident.

I can count on fingers how many months. Tales 10 seconds.
Count 40 weeks back from your birthday with no help in 10 seconds or less.
