Haggis Ruby

We've just finished up our second Haggis Ruby, in the blazing Glaswegian sunshine. Thanks to all our amazing speakers and supportive sponsors and kind attendees for making it a success. It's a Friday, so a Friday hug? #HaggisRuby #FridayHug

Keynote Klaxon! We’re delighted that @mikemcquaid@mastodon.social will be opening Haggis Ruby for us this year. Mike’s the CTPO of Administrate and the Project Leader of Homebrew. Get yer tickets to see him here:
https://haggisruby.co.uk. Mike spoke in 2024, and his is the first of our talks from that year to be up on our channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgjFrEtMadQ

Haggis Ruby is taking place in less than two weeks! We think we've got the best schedule possible, and are incredibly lucky to have these speakers coming along. The schedule is up (https://haggisruby.co.uk/schedule), and we're delighted with the variety of talks as well.

Unfortunately, one of our workshop facilitators had to cancel late last week, so we're working on something to replace that. If you want tickets, we've got tickets available and we'd love to see you there

A shout out for our silver sponsor @appsignal@appsignal.social, who always bring the stroopwafels. But did you know they also provide easy to use, front to back application performance monitoring? Think on that as you dip your stroopwafel in your tea.

Tickets still available for 23/34th of April! https://haggisruby.co.uk

Have you got your tickets for Haggis Ruby yet? This time round we’ve more than doubled the fun with two conference days and one evening event! We're joined by a whole host of excellent speakers and workshop facilitators too - April 23rd & 24th, in Glasgow. Tickets and details here https://haggisruby.co.uk

RE: @ismasan@ruby.social

‪We've had great feedback on this workshop from conference attendees! An under-discussed topic in web development land and something that hands on experience really helps with understanding. If you're running a conference or a meetup with space for
@ismasan@ruby.social is the guy for you. Plus, he's a lovely human being.

A huge thank you to the wonderful people at https://www.freeagent.com/ who are our second gold sponsor. FreeAgent is amongst the largest Ruby shops in Scotland, and build accounting software for every small business. If you're contracting or sole trading and are worried about MTD, they'll be happy to help you out.

A few folk from FreeAgent are coming along (and speaking), so if you'd like to meet them, get your tickets now! https://haggisruby.co.uk
