A lot of this punk stuff requires significant financial investments and don’t feel very punk at all
I was feeling a bit defeated yesterday. Went to get food for dinner and wouldn’t you know it AUDIBLE took out the funds for a subscription between the time I checked my phone and when I paid five mins later for my food. So we had to abandon the food at the register and walk home hungry.
So I was like “Maybe I’ll reach out to some of my family who I haven’t talked to in a bit,” thinking it might make me feel a little better.
I was left on read after I said who I was. Why do I do these things?
I tried to give up my cane for a while and wow. The difference in my energy levels was wild. I was hoping I could learn to skateboard one day still but I dunno if I will ever be able to balance well enough to do it without a cane. But at least I know that it helps me walk way further and my energy levels aren’t super low for no reason.
It’s funny how expensive asthma meds are off of insurance and how pharmacists will be like “eh you can get it tomorrow” when I’m already wheezing putting the rx in. Being unemployed and having no insurance is the best. I love it. This is sarcasm!

@AltTextHealthCheck 😎 I took my alt-text posting skills from a certain pizza place where the admin banned me for *saying I was considering not putting a trigger warning on posts where I talk about having to deal with medical problems related to tear gas in Portland* (not actually doing that, btw) so I'm happy to bring them over to here where I'm allowed to be a trans human without the admins jumping down my throat because they don't like trans people talking about their bodies in public.
