@aldi80s@mastodon.social 100% agree. The band should have ended when Ted passed. Somewhere I have a Ted Kirkpatrick signed VHS tape with footage of his drum solos. Psycho Surgery and Pathogenic are among my all-time favorite albums ever.

I have just completed my 48th orbit of this planetary system's primary star. Conditions on the Terra orbiter continue to deteriorate but could be greatly improved by jettisoning certain crew members who are intent on sabotaging the mission. Transfer to a different station remains extremely unlikely.

Did Chelsea avoid Conference League qualification? They were definitely trying.

@ryan2one3@mstdn.ca same. I thought they favored primetime in Europe, but these kickoffs are in the middle of the night over there so who knows.
Hear me out, though: Ruben Amorim 🤔

As someone who doesn't really pay attention to basketball, I'm genuinely surprised to learn the Knicks will be in the NBA Finals.
First time in history that no Real Madrid players were called up to the Spanish national team. That probably says more about the state of Real Madrid these days than anything else.

NBC needs to have the West Ham score on the screen on the Spurs game and vice versa. Basic stuff.

@reesecommabill@gardenstate.social still too much. I saw some of this crap at Dollar General the other day. They definitely overestimated the demand for this. Perfect white elephant gift though.
South Africa has a midfielder named Yaya Sithole. There's no way Fox announcers don't mess that up.

Who will be crowned champion of Europe today?
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Khalifa Al Thani, or a guy from Missouri who married into the Walton fortune?

@skullvalanche@gladtech.social if they were just slapping their name on a compilation I wouldn't give it a second look, but the fact that's it's emo songs about sad nights in a Wendy's parking lot... just genius.

@Vivaldi I love it. Any chance the photo credit can have a clear background or something other than black text on white? Sticks out like a shirt tag. If not, that's fine.
