Love this: Victoria embedded a sensor on its main bike path with this sign. 614 at that time.

CERT in Ashland, OR:
So, we got zero meaningful reforms of ICE/CBP, which already has enough funding from last year’s bill to run for years. Do I have that right?
First snow. Taken from Ashland Municipal Airport while preparing for our first citywide evacuation drill.
@pj@theforkiverse.com Pulled up theforkiverse.com in the kitchen while listening via incognito mode. Thanks for following through on fediverse reporting—fun episode, well explained. A followup might cover all the other fedi app types. You could even stream an episode recording session on Owncast (what’s the worst that could happen? :-) Enjoy your no-algo feed.

@Casey Ok, RT’ed. nine. months. later. Welcome to mastodon, where the past, present, and future combine.
Kind of amazing that my home instance had no problem linking to your new(?) one and letting me follow you guys. Like the old Internet, you didn’t have to get anyone’s permission, you’re just part of it.
Enjoyed the SearchEngine episode - thanks for trying this out.

Instead of cancelling something, today I’m subscribing to WIRED magazine. They continue to frankly report on politics and realities in tech today, and restated their commitment in this Katie Drummond editorial. (ironically, I can only find it on Apple News+’s page-by-page magazine edition)

Other business leaders at Saturday night’s White House Melania screening included Zoom CEO Eric Yuan; New York Stock Exchange CEO Lynn Martin; AMD CEO Lisa Su, and Amazon execs who funded the film, per the Hollywood Reporter https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/inside-white-house-screening-amazon-melania-1236484545/
Partying at the White House on Saturday night was unacceptable. I’m re-evaluating my relationship with my once-favorite corporation. Not that they’ll notice, but all subscriptions except minimal iCloud canceled. #apple

No “Strategy Breakdowns,” I have not wondered why I buy the Apple products I buy. I do wonder why you have put spam in my inbox. #spammer
When did the Mac Downloads folder start syncing to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned off? I’d like to disable this. So far, the only option seems to use a different folder for downloads. (on Sequoia) #icloud
