An article that describes something I noticed but thought was just my own bias or inability to understand corporate messaging:

Content creators need to go on strike so I have time to catch up on all the fucking content.

Woah Meta fucking hates my post about the sex work strike tonight.

Er... if you're on Instagram and want to help a queer out, a like and/or share would be real appreciated right now.

Mauvaises nouvelles.

Feminae, the bibliographical database on medieval women created and run by Margaret Schaus for the past couple of decades, is going offline as of 1 April because the hosting arrangement with the University of Iowa is ending. Download as much as you can ASAP: https://inpress.lib.uiowa.edu/Feminae/AdvancedSearch.aspx

What if, just as a little treat, I added some invisible prompts in my emails that will break Gemini. #hackThePlanet

Zinemakers who make zines for print: what are you guys making zines with? I might have access to a printer during the week but I might want to try different things.

I was already in a bit of a state talking to a photographer friend who was working F1 this weekend (so much terrible behaviour from disgusting rich men) but then I saw some more bullshit about the Enhanced Games and now I am so angry! Fans and athletes deserve SO MUCH BETTER from sport!

RE: @gersande@the.bisexuals.town

A few decades ago, before my lifetime but in my parents' generation, the Parti Québécois was under surveillance by CSIS/anglo Canada for being "Marxist" (pro labour basically), separatist, and francophone.

Every péquiste should be deeply ashamed of what that party has become.

There is a phD to be done in the extremely fast 10 year turnaround of anti-abortion being a politically suicidal ideal in Québec to now being a cornerstone (if still somewhat understated) of the Parti Québécois. (Though a factor, it would be too easy to blame American cultural imperialism for this one.)

The very first Game Workers Conference (by workers for workers) is streaming live on YouTube right now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFF97OjUEtk

Sur les ossements des morts était une de mes lectures préférées il y a seulement une poignée d'années. Apprendre qu'Olga Tokarczuk a utilisé l'IA pour son dernier roman me chagrine énormément. Je n'achèterai plus de ses livres.
