@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social 2/2 One night, Benny Birdbath told a story and another guy called him a liar. They argued for a minute and then the other guy grabbed birdbath by the throat. Birdbath pulled a boxcutter and stabbed him in the thigh. That was the end of Cookie Club.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social Witnesses said the man arrived carrying a large rusty valve wheel attached to a section of pipe, pushed it into the ground, then stood beside it checking his watch. Seconds before Old Faithful erupted, he reportedly yelled, Alright, pressure looks good! and began violently turning the wheel. The geyser erupted moments later. Several tourists applauded. At least two reportedly asked what time employees would turn it on again. 2/3

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social The performance continued through another eruption before park staff noticed the unauthorized plumbing equipment and removed the man from the area. When questioned, the tourist reportedly explained that he was "just helping with pressure control." Officials confirmed Old Faithful remains naturally occurring and does not currently have a shutoff valve. 3/3
