I've got some news! I created an open source library for generating Podcasting 2.0 RSS feeds.

You can check it out here: https://gitlab.com/caproni-podcast-publishing/pod2gen

Any feedback is appreciated :)

This article is pure gold for small podcast hosting services like mine.

Thanks @jamescridland@podcastindex.social!

Thanks for the shoutout @jamescridland@podcastindex.social :)

@dave@podcastindex.social @adam@podcastindex.social @jamescridland@podcastindex.social Yes, it's for Python 3.6 and up.

@dave@podcastindex.social @agates thanks for sharing your thoughts... in spite of this one of the better web3 projects I've seen, it still does appear to be a super long shot. I have a lot more confidence on the namespace as is :)

What do you guys think of RSS3?

Could it have any future within the namespace?

@agates thanks for the tip! I was actually considering that a while ago. Will give it another look.

@agates It really could run on Python versions lower than 3.6, but 3.5 no longer has security support and the black linter https://github.com/psf/black also requires 3.6, so we went with 3.6.

What did you guys think about Spotify's new proprietary video podcasting solution? To me it seems like they are growing inpatient in their efforts to take over podcasting.
