Europe’s problem is not that we lack alternatives. It’s that we don’t buy what we build, don’t invest in Europe, and don’t treat digital infrastructure as strategic. Buy European must mean build and buy better. Digital independence is freedom and democracy.
On the 145th anniversary of @lavanguardia.com, I spoke with @miquelmolina.bsky.social about the rise of a techno-authoritarian complex undermining press freedom, democratic accountability, and Europe’s sovereignty. Independent media and public digital infrastructure are essential to defend democracy.
