Sounds like determinism.

From the count of neurons firing, to their relations and positions: every “emotion” can be described with numbers.

As I remember, we can't do that because:

we still don't know how the human brain and consciousness works
On MRI we can see some common (for each human being) zones in brain, firing up when some common emotion occurs, thats all.

Your brain does not process information, retrieve knowledge or store memories. In short: your brain is not a computer

#Amazon is funny. Tried to delete my account since long period of inactivity — but can't even login because they asking for video selfie (!) and photos (!) of goverment issued ID (!).

Even the bank or goverment accounts don't ask me such things to login — just a plain login/password/2FA. Lol, there are no any orders or working bank card (since Visa/Mastercard stopped working here) in my account :dragnsarc:

Replying to

@nfgusedautoparts@en.osm.town @lauren@mastodon.laurenweinstein.org Some places definitely make their mobile websites worse to nudge users to use their apps, For ex.: #Yandex maps website periodically shows a fullscreen popup to promote the app as a "comfortable" way to use maps. Map loading takes a lot of time and the marketing "POIs" load first. Yandex Go mobile site lacks of features and thinks that I'm in Amsterdam if I choose "allow approximate location" (not precise) in Librewolf :dragnsarc:

@celesteh@lgbt.io @Cat_LeFey@pagan.plus I'm a Russian and I don't understand — there is the discrimination here? I saw a lot of shit&cringe in some of our local communities (especially in some gaming communities) — so I completely understand the gamers, whose saw some shit from ru players and now avoiding to contact with them. I understand that I can do noting with it. I can just try to be a nice person, not a moron constantly yelling "CYKA BLYAT" in voicechat😃

@KCDOZ@mastodon.social I feel strong #StarTrek vibes from this message. Despite I was born in 1990 and my first series were "Star Trek: TNG" on the local TV channel — I miss these times when the whole nations think about the stars, not about surviving in current moment.
