@marcoarment@mastodon.social I need to upgrade my phone, still using my 13, but I just can’t get myself to spend money at Apple especially now. Tim Cook has to go.

@dschaub@mstdn.social @atpfm@mastodon.social @siracusa@mastodon.social Is a drought over if it rains once and then not again for another decade?

@viticci Finally

@paelse@mastodon.online I know where you’re coming from as we see a lot of these population charts as male vs female, but this particular chart is showing the age as a percentage of population regardless of gender with the left being the population distribution in 1990 and the right being 2023. So that large difference you are seeing is how the extremely young population distribution in 1990 became very old only 33 years later.

@atpfm@mastodon.social I heard your thoughts about Apple’s AI pin recording meetings and instantly thought of corporate IT. No way in hell are they allowing that without enterprise control and we all know how well Apple does enterprise tools. Just see all the consent messages from Zoom and Teams for recording to follow recording laws. And without the workplace use case, it seems that tech companies want and need the pin more than users do, just one more avenue to slop up data.

@daringfireball@mastodon.social So on par for CS faculty. That being said, where is reading mode for PDFs this is unreadable on a phone.

@verge@mastodon.social I can’t even get Teams to work with Teams. Trying to message someone from a different org is a nightmare.
