In the 2040s, "soyjak" "chad" "chud" etc will be gay slang for certain body types the way "twink" "bear" etc are now. Like a short gay man with glasses will be a "chud"

Getting so annoyed with liberals that I attend the Kings counter-protest, where I get slaughtered in a ceremonial reenactment of Anne Boleyn's execution. After this a massive fight breaks out between the two groups over who gets to fuck my dead body

Making good progress on my second novel, "There Is An Antimemetics Division". It's a Gen X shonen about a heroic band of teachers who team up and grow powerful in order to defeat the conniving elementary school students in their classes as well as the massive, monstrous "Brainrots" they summon to their side like JoJo stands. The big villain is just a guy named "AI" who's also secretly running the United States, but he's also secretly the alter ego of one of the students. I couldn't get the rights to the original Cappuccini Assassini for the cover art so I had to ask my artist to draw a legally distinct version.

Just asked my 6 year old son Wilhelm how many r’s are in the word “strawberry” and shot him in the head when he said 2. He didn’t do the scream if you’re wondering

"Derek Savage" would be a great pseudonym for a butch lesbian in a BDSM club

@shinmera To be honest, I think it goes both ways. Just as most improvements of conditions are unglamorous applications of standard communal processes, the same is true for degradations of conditions. A landlord (or faceless corporation) evicting a tenant is more of a Nazi in a material sense than the boring NRx wannabes that get op-eds in nationwide journals, even if the latter are "shaping the future" in some stupid abstract way. Lives are ruined by apathetic nobodies who show up to enforce (written and unwritten) rules that have been here long before any of us.

Just had this crazy dream where I missed this flight that I was meant to take to go see my family, the flight was at 6pm and I woke up at 2pm but fell back asleep and slept through it (which, my sleep schedule does look like that rn lol). My perception shifted from sitting despondent at the airport trying to double-check the time (I still wasn’t totally sure what the time was) and hanging out at this party in this massive house. Most of the walls and furniture were made out of wood. There was a section that was basically a 10-ft pit that you could drop down and there were a few rooms coming off that (wasn’t sure how you got out but wasn’t worried). There was this one bedroom where everything was shaped like dice, like there were dice-shaped pillows, but the girl to which it belonged forbid us from touching any of it.
Whole ton of people were at the party, bunch of middle aged guys, some kids, I was hanging out with this random cis woman and Clavicular (I wish I was joking). The vibes were absolutely horrendous. They had this wine that they said “was going to turn them into terfs”. I wanted some of the wine so I went to get a glass, but unfortunately woke up before I could get some. There were also these crazy fights that happened but it wasn’t that serious, just depressing (cause I had missed my flight).

@mttaggart@infosec.exchange This whole piece feels intensely Christian to me. This is most overt in the final scene, which is essentially an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting (the "addiction recovery" language is even used) where everyone gets together to repent the sin of denying their own sinful humanity. This ties to the piece's fetishization of "[human] imperfection" which is I think pretty illuminating of the author's internal thought process. Why use the word "imperfect" to describe what makes "human art" special, rather than any other descriptor, such as "interesting" (rather, why does "interesting" follow from "imperfect")?
I think the author really accepts more of the Tech Bro's premises than they think. The "resistance" they prescribe wields no financial leverage, coddles its subjects even as it defines them by their flaws ('we are all perfect in God's eyes'), and rests on an invented image of "humanity" that will necessarily not include all humans. What happens when someone talks about something horrible that happened to them, and is shut down because they're "disrupting the vibe"/"making people uncomfortable" (challenging this image of humanity)? What happens when a struggling person would be materially helped by LLM use, but this makes them unethical or dirty in the minds of the community around them? They become just another lost soul, drowning, drifting, no one to look at them.
But it sure is great to pretend that capital doesn't exist for a little while, isn't it? It feels so wonderfully guilty and suffocating to have a ChatGPT cheat day, doesn't it? It sure is great to have somewhere to call back your childhood and your parents, because you don't fucking have anything else, isn't it? That's the real contradiction. That's the real poison. If you make $50k/year and you're imperfect enough in the right ways, at least you can imagine that you're getting into heaven as the sun sinks below the horizon.
