Just finished the John Muir Trail as a northbound hike from Cottonwood Pass to Yosemite. Such a lovely trail and amazing that it’s something we protect as wilderness as Americans. Parks and Wilderness continues to be one of our greatest ideas. 😍
I absolutely loved this post about the new $599 Apple computer. Really took me back to the days of installing Red Hat Linux on CDs in high school, and being so excited I could make the computer talk.

Love how the Pac-Man Rule has made it to far into the Python community here at #PythonAsia. If you want to learn more about it:

@chrisjrn@social.coop @jezdez@publicidentity.net I feel like all the comms around this is a bad sign. Really hoping the PSF doesn’t lose their shirts on the conf this year. 🙏
Just made it to Manila for Python Asia! Excited to catch up with the community here, talk docs, and learn more about the things going on here. Also excited to meet up in the evening if there's randomly people I know here who won't be at the conference as well :D
Does Pycon US have dates for 2027? (cc @ThePSF@fosstodon.org)

@sustainoss@hachyderm.io Is this event going to be up on the website? Tried to tell someone about it, and it wasn't anywhere on the site.
