Winter of Resilience
The winter season has arrived in Gaza, bringing with it heavy rainfall and chilling winds. While rain is often seen as a blessing, for thousands of families in Gaza living in makeshift tents and damaged buildings, it presents a significant challenge.

I’m Yasmin, a mother of four, going
through extremely hard times. My baby Duaa is hungry, and we can’t afford food, milk, or diapers. 😭💔Even $300 could change our lives.
Please share—your support means hope 💔
**"Between the rain and the wind, our tents sway as if crying for help...
No walls to protect us, no windows to close against the cold.
The harsh cold creeps into our children’s bones, and the water floods the ground beneath us.
We need your prayers, we need the warmth of your hearts...
Every blanket, every bit of help, every kind word… makes a difference in this harsh winter."**
One hard thing about life in Gaza is that we are quickly affected by events happening anywhere in the world.
This morning, a war between big armies caused prices of basic goods in Gaza to double and triple.
A simple summary of how we suffer everyday!
This year, Ramadan arrives feeling like a stranger. We are without the walls that once sheltered our memories, and without that cherished corner where my family gathered for Iftar and Suhoor for decades. For the first time in my life, the holy month comes while we are far from the home that witnessed our growth and our laughter. I see the heartache in my parents' eyes every time they remember the details of our beautiful home. The pain of loss is doubled during Ramadan—when will this exile end?
I am struggling with depression and feel completely unsupported. As Ramadan approaches,I find myself unable to afford even the simplest things—like a Ramadan lantern or basic decorations—to bring joy to my children’s hearts inside our tent. I am reaching out to you for the sake of my children, asking for your support with $100 to help us through these difficult times.💔
In Gaza, death is no longer just overhead—it is in the water we drink and the air we breathe. We are witnessing a silent massacre as respiratory illnesses and Hepatitis ravage overcrowded tents. Children who escaped the bombs are now losing their lives to fever and dehydration. They survived the war, but they might not survive the disease."

*In Gaza, suffering is not limited to bombing and destruction alone;
it extends to diseases and the flu spreading among children and adults.
The bitter cold, lack of medicine, absence of healthcare, and malnutrition
have turned simple illnesses into daily, life-threatening suffering.
We fight illness with patience,
face hunger with faith,
and cling to life despite everything.**

The strong winds show no mercy — they tear our tents apart and expose our pain to the sky.
We shelter under worn-out covers, while our children’s bodies tremble from cold and helplessness.
Another night passes in fear and patience… as if we have no refuge in this world.
Save what’s left of our dignity — the tent can’t withstand many more storms of suffering.

Our tent was torn apart by the strong winds,
and the rain seeped into our blankets and our children’s tiny bodies.
Nothing protects us from the bitter winter cold,
no walls to preserve our warmth or dignity.
Here in Gaza… we struggle to survive under a roof made of plastic,
hoping the sky shows us mercy and doesn’t pour more.
Support us—every tent that’s repaired, every blanket that’s given,
could save a shivering child from the cold of death.

Rain is a blessing… but under the tents, it turns into pain.
Every drop that falls brings a cold that seeps into our bones, and our children shiver from the freezing chill.
There are no walls to protect us, and no blankets are enough.
We face winter battling the cold, falling asleep while hoping for warmth that never comes.
Stand with us — with the warmth of your hearts, a blanket, a tent, anything that can save a life.

"As the world finds comfort in warmth and safety, we in Gaza endure the freezing nights under broken skies, with no roof to shield us and no blankets to protect our children. The cold bites deep, and silence surrounds our pain. Please, extend your hearts and hands — your support could bring warmth, hope, and life."

A powerful storm is expected to hit Gaza tonight.
Heavy rain threatens the fragile tents of the displaced.
Our souls cry out from the cold and helplessness.
Please speak up for us before silence drowns us.
We desperately need your help.

Winter in the camps is merciless.
Every drop of rain tells a story of suffering,
and the cold quietly steals our children’s breath.
We’re not asking for much… just warmth, a blanket, or a kind hand reaching out.
Your donation today could be the hope for a warmer tomorrow.

In Gaza, relief feels far away
My daughter Ward is sad and isn’t asking for the impossible
All she wishes for suhoor is an egg,a cucumber, and a tomato
The simplest wish for any child, yet for us it’s painful
as the prices of eggs, cucumbers, and tomatoes are beyond what we can afford
My heart aches for my little girl
because she has learned to dream of so little and even that little is hard to reach
Please, your support could bring her a small moment of joy😭
"Each passing day weighs heavier on my heart...
I'm no longer asking for much, just a touch of humanity.
My children shiver from the cold, and I have nothing to offer them.
Life has become a fog where hope can no longer be seen.
I’m not asking for something big… just a look of compassion, a kind word, a little support that could make me feel alive again.
Has calling for help become bothersome?
If so, forgive me… but I can no longer bear this loneliness."
