I’ve been contemplating more and more moving on from #Apple (mostly because of the software), but my @frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org simulation didn’t do too much to help though.
This was obvious. OpenAI has a prime context for highly customized, targeted, ads (AI generated) with all the information people relay there.

Timeless Pismo. One of my all-time favourite Macs (though I don’t think that particular one is a Pismo, correct?)
Spent some hours working on a script to export my #macOS system settings to streamline a clean install, to no success - it exports the .plist files but, when importing, only some of the settings seem to be set with the correct value. I’ll take a closer look, but I ended up configuring it by hand :(

I don’t think Kanga had that type of monitor hinge, correct? And I went to confirm it’s not a Pismo, based on the light on the hinge’s position (I didn’t remember that, tbh) and the buttons (didn’t really look closely to that detail).

I restarted the machine so that I wouldn’t have to do those things one by one, but no luck. Don’t really know why but doesn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe something’s not correct with the export itself.
