The amateur radio direction finding event at EMF 2026 has also closed down. All transmitters have been removed from the site, all receiver kits were returned. Many thanks to all participants, we had great fun and hope so did you! About 50 teams and individuals went "fox hunting", and almost all found all transmitters. Props to @DK4HAA@mastodon.radio and @reald@chaos.social for the idea, artwork and software. Thanks, and see you at the next camp. ZTL team now cl, over and out. 😃 #emf2026 #emfcamp #ardf #hamradio

Heute Probelauf für die geplante Peil-Fuchsjagd auf dem ZelTLager des @ztl@rheinneckar.social

Lief bestens, die selbstgebaute Antenne funktioniert hervorragend und die für das Peilen modifizierte Firmware des Funkgerätes ist enorm hilfreich (Abschwächer und so).

Es wird weiter gelötet, der Termin für das Peilen auf dem ZelTLager nähert sich. @casartar@rheinneckar.social bastelt fleißig die Sender zusammen, ich spiele derweil mit der speziellen Software von draussenfuchs.de . Danke an @DK4HAA@mastodon.radio und @marove@chaos.social 😀

Ziel bei dieser Bauform ist möglichst preiswerte, einfache und auch für Laien nachbausichere Antennen anzubieten. Das au meine nBidlern zu sehende, grüne 3D gedruckte Teil ist schon Luxus und gehört nicht zum eigentlichen Konzept der Antenne, so wie sie von draussenfuchs.de designed wurde.

@AG7GM Yes, you can, provided that the two antennas are mounted at different locations, some meters apart. One closer to the suspected noise source than the other. Then use a phase shifter lead ke the DXR NCC.

@morbi Um, bisher nicht so wirklich offen, eher nur so intern von den Landauern (ZTL) und Saarbrückern (Hacksaar). Und sehr klein, 25-30 Leute. Aber wen nDu bock hast, lässt sich das sicher einrichten.

@gafu @marove @DK4HAA @ztl Ja, es geht immer besser, aber nicht zu dem Preis und dem geringen Aufwand. Manchmal reicht "gut genug" um Spaß zu haben. Wir haben die Antenne vorhin getestet und konnten feststellen, das sie gut genug geht um beim geplanten Camp Spaß zu haben :)

@morbi Super, danke für das Angebot! Wir wollen uns da selber was bauen und haben auch schon etwas Material im Zulauf. Falls es da Stress geben sollte, kommen wir gerne auf dein Angebot zurück. Wir machen ein kleines Camp in der Nähe von Annweiler, Anfang Mai.

@GreenSky@mastodon.social Man kann als Verkehrsteilnehmer besser gucken, vor allem an Ecken, Kreuzungen, Kreiseln. Teilweise gibts hier Ecken, da steht das Gras so hoch, das es etwas schwirig ist zu sehen ob da jemand kommt.
