Problem for the day!
Pictured: a sack with ropes for 2-3 adventurers heading underground (katana and helmet merely for scale).
1) How much rope is there in the sack?
2) According to the RPG system of your choice, how much does the sack weigh? (Your system of choice may also be "common sense", if you're weird like that.)

#RPGStories #kickstarter is inching towards its first stretch goal, which includes retexturing objects I think.
So here's another game image! This is from an XCOM pastiche I ran. Here I used the software like an actual 3d battlemap on a big screen, but showing things from the characters' POV, or from POV of their scouting minidrones. Worked like gangbusters, will definitely use this method for similar games. #ttrpg

@LordStargazer@social.vivaldi.net I just dug up the SRD and built something on top of it, occasionally glancing at Mongoose Traveller / Zozer's Modern War for additional ideas.
I'm usually not mechanically oriented at all, but for this project I need a proper yet simple system since I want the tactical level to branch out to any other interested GMs who might want to run some missions for their groups, as a shared world kind of thing.

Vähän sama kuin tehtävä, joka olis "Liisan koulumatka on 410 km ja koulupäivä alkaa kello 19.24. Liisa juoksee 376 km/h. Milloin Liisan pitää lähteä kotoa ehtiäkseen kouluun ajoissa?" Mikään arkijärjessä ei auta tämän hahmottamisessa.

#RPGStories kickstarter reached its first stretch goal, and here's a couple of more scenes from the XCOM-ish game! This is an old uranium mine the aliens were robbing.
I'm really happy at how those pictures turned out. The second one was a part of an entire 3d battlemap. (The players never saw the it though, as at the first level they went "ah hell naw" and just put explosives at the mine entrance. Should have expected that, probably.)

@LordStargazer@social.vivaldi.net There's an XCOM mega-campaign I'm sort of planning -- high level deals with the politics of an alien invasion (playing politicians, generals etc), and low level is about the people on the front lines.
This was a POC for the setting+system, a one-shot of a squad of soldiers making 1st contact ever with hostile aliens. It was mostly tactical, though not entirely. Next session will be "wtf was that" + briefing higher-ups, so all about roleplaying.
Used the Cepheus system.

Aaand the expansion is funded! Exactly what I needed to improve my mood on what has been a rather shitty day.
Here's another illustration I made with the software, this one for my #EclipsePhase campaign.
Hesarin mukaan yksi paikallisista kiipeilysalifirmoista (Boulderkeskus) on johdettu täysin perseilevästi. Maksumuurin takana, mutta artikkeli kertoo mm. että Lupa- ja valvontavirasto on todennut tuolla johtajan harjoittaneen lainvastaista syrjintää ja muuta inhaa. Palkanmaksukaan ei tunnu onnistuvan.
Boulderkeskuksen salit on tuntuneet olevan "scruffy underdog" verrattuna Kiipeilyareenan halleihin, mutta näyttää siltä, ettei niissä enää tarvii käydä.

Here's a really quick one I put together in 10 minutes for the #Daggerheart campaign of some friends. The three PCs are HeroForge models created by the players, I just tossed them into a scene that was described to me.
