Only two I still like from that session. None of the poses of the model looking forward are worth putting up.
#Sketch #LifeDrawing #Drawing #Pastel
Didn't really capture the likeness but the attitude, grit, and and stance are there so I like it.

@timbray@cosocial.ca @mhoye@cosocial.ca @andrewnez@mastodon.social I am ashamed to say it took many many paragraphs for it to click that this was satire. Even the lottery winning maintainer didn't push it over the edge of credulity. Also I don't know how quote reply notifications work here so I'm cc'ing the world.

@Gina I have no idea how, but get the EU on Google's arse. You seem to be the only ones able to push the megacorps around. Well, EU and China, but they have their own anti-individual priorities.

@weit_im_westen@nrw.social The first part where you spin around and there is also a bit of paralax and the crackle of snow makes the glade feel magical.

@toddanderson Value sketches are the best sketches. The way you show light is amazing. I also really admire your watercolours. I stay away from colour. My brain is too good at interpreting colour rather than seeing what is there so your watercolours look impossibly impressive to me.

@hikingdude Before I read your blog I assumed this was going up hill. Looks much more serene without the trees. I can hear the silence.

@stancarey@mastodon.ie I had no idea this was a book. The tv miniseries was lovely and that's not a term I typically use for anything. I'll have to buy the book.
