Everyone my age has a favourite Goodies episode. Mine was always the O. K. Tea Room. Though that one where they are getting renovations on the office and they discover the builders were just drinking cups of tea and the construction sounds were from a cassette tape comes back to me a lot, as I frequently intersect with the construction industry.

I took my old camera, a Panasonic LUMIX GF1 with a 20mm pancake prime, down to the beach the other week. I love the photos this thing produces. So much nicer than the iPhone.
Was doing some research that involved reading some journal articles and an essential step is now: was this published before AI slop became a thing? (This one is from 2008, so probably factual.)
Had our last night out at Onzieme tonight, which is about to close. Portia’s Place, an institution since I first started working in Kingston 20 years ago, is also closing. Sad to witness Kingston’s culinary decline. #canberra
