Sorry, minor rant: working in tech can get extremely exhausting since almost every one around you is so focused on technology that they work under the assumption that technology is the solution for all the worlds ills.
You've probably met plenty of these sorts of technologists. They are the ones that believe that you can write an app to solve homelessness. Or that the current crop of LLMs will, somehow, lead to AGI.
It's a cult. These people's religion is technology. Tech is their magic.
Maybe @cloudflare@noc.social needs to hire back whomever was making sure their "are you a human" prompts worked. Cause here in Portugal every website using cloudflare has been asking for the bloody prompt multiple times per day.
Reminder for anyone who has forgotten:
There are 3 people at a table. A Fascist walks in and sits at the table. There are now 4 fascists at the table.
Clica aqui: http://abrilnositiocerto.pt
Obrigado!
Traditions. Dropping by Ikea and seeing half the EV charger bays taken up by those magical wirelessly charging diesel cars
Meanwhile, in other news:
@firefoxnightly@mastodon.social I usually run beta. I'm ok with knowing what's coming up but I am not gutsy enough to go for nightly.
Hopefully that fixes it. It's been genuinely making me reconsider firefox how slow autocomplete is now on Android (used to be I could type a letter or two and quickly go to my usual urls like ma for mail)
