@ainmosni@social.ainmosni.eu @evacide@hachyderm.io I find that cities have more of the "small town" feeling that folks claim they want/miss than any suburb does. I walk to my grocery store, walk to my dentist and doctor, my kids walk to school and their friends walk over to visit.
In the suburbs folks can't do anything without getting in a car. There's no casually running into neighbors while grocery shopping at the giant big box store 5 miles away, separated from any other errand you might want to do by a parking lot the size of several football fields.
