I'm a ML researcher and decided to try my best at a Kaggle competition in an LLM world. @melvian yeah it's a difficult challenge talking to a lot of devs: when you work in a field dedicated to composing abstraction on top of abstraction it can be easy to mistake that for actual interdisciplinary comprehension when exposed to new fields.
