@mhoye@mastodon.social I'm a bit torn about this because we've already seen perverts and shitface tiktok "pranksters" using this for disgusting personal gain, BUT they're an excellent and discreet/safer idea for accessibility and recording evidence of abuse, malpractice, discrimination, corruption, etc.

Obviously there are multiple tutorials on hiding the blinking light (and the fact it's made/owned by fucking facebook!) so you should always assume they're recording. Hopefully this doesn't make glasses wearers a target of harassment, I can't imagine someone threatening to bomb a fucking Specsavers 😭
