@polotek@social.polotek.net half the reason i have been slow about learning more (web) frontend than "html, css, js, and jinii/django template markup" is because of this dynamic, i have no idea which framework is gonna be the magic word for a job and they all look like a bit of a mess, and all the meanwhile i have yet to really need more than the essentials to make what i want when doing my own work. it's on the list of things i'd like to get to anyway

@jef@mastodon.social worth throwing in here that since 2021 we have known that being vaccinated doesn't substantially prevent infection or chronic illness (it does give you a longer fuse, but each subsequent reinfection also damages the body further) so mr. covid probably did have luck with the fully vaxxed ranking member
