Moving to @Chertograd@mastodon.social

It may be a small thing, but god do I love the fact that on Bluesky you're able to change your user handle/nickname and apparently in the future, if you decide to take your stuff to another server, you will not lose out on your posts.
Currently Mastodon only lets you move your followers and follows, but not the actual content that you've posted along the years.
That's not continuation in my book.

I still have an account (and a backup account) on Mastodon, but I'm mainly posting on BlueSky these days. Find me there (link is in my profile).

I also have Threads, but it has some annoying factors if you ask me.

Kuvittelenko vain vai onko BlueSky'ssä paljon vähemmän suomalaisia kuin mitä Mastodonissa?
Täältä niitä tuntuu löytyvän enemmänkin, mutta riippumatta siitä mitä hakusanoja käyttää niin BlueSky'ssä vain muutamia...?

Ovatko muut kiinnittäneet tähän huomiota? 🤔

Trying to split my microblogging time on here and Bluesky.
The thing is, I've already found the right people to follow here so that's still work-in-progress on Bluesky for me

#Threads may be popular but it's increasingly annoying how all of the notifications get stuff I didn't ask for.

It's not just the feed. Quite frankly, I think it's a very poor design choice.

They will, however, most likely end up being the largest competitor to #X / #Twitter.

The upside is that since Meta nearly forced all Instagram users into it, pretty much everyone is there whether they want to or not. It was just a scummy move to say the least.

Apparently you can't edit posts on #Bluesky. Bummer.
Everyone makes typos...
And there's always history so one argument can be thrown out of the window...
