The @DataColada team has been sued by Francesca Gino for exposing the fraudulent data underlying four of her papers (she claims defamation). The legal defense could get expensive. Please join us in providing financial support for their defense.

Did you just finish your undergrad or graduate thesis?

Share your scholarship on https://thesiscommons.org

Thesis gets a DOI, discoverable on Google Scholar and elsewhere. Especially useful for those considering grad school and those finishing grad school and wanting to share.

Our Annual Review piece "Replicability, Robustness, and Reproducibility in Psychological Science" was the 4th most downloaded article across Annual Review journals in 2022 (https://www.annualreviews.org/page/top-2022).

Because of that, they have made the formatted version openly accessible for a limited time (https://www.annualreviews.org/doi/10.1146/annurev-psych-020821-114157).

And, the Green OA version is always open: https://psyarxiv.com/ksfvq/

The terms for researchers examining potential violations of research integrity are bad (data police, data thug).

What is an alternative term that:

* doesn't imply anything about the intentions of the people who did the work being investigated (deliberate or accidental)

* doesn't imply the researcher has any power over the people/work being investigated

* does indicate the work is scholarly, and should be valued

* does indicate that "self-appointment" to investigate is appropriate & ordinary

Now in American Psychologist “Responsible data sharing: Identifying and remedying possible re-identification of human participants”

This paper, written with Kirsten Morehouse and Benedek Kurdi, provides a framework to help researchers think through the risks of data sharing and how to address those risks to meet the aims of sharing and transparency without sacrificing integrity and privacy of human participants.

Replying to
@HelenaPaterson@nerdculture.de When an author posts a paper on the service, they can include co-authors if it was a collaborative project that link to their accounts. It is an interesting idea to be able to link other forms of contributors that don't fit the category "co-author"
