My demodernizing of desktop UIs project is going good. Everything just feels more sane now.
@acallegaro@mas.to They’ve been adding a lot of “friction” to simple tasks.
Like it used to default to the “Budget” tab, then they added a useless “Home” tab that it always defaulted too.
They’ve renamed “Budget” to “Plan”
Things that took two taps take three, etc.

@kaylee@mas.to Do you have more info on the macOS bug regarding not using user id 501? Just noticed Wipr reporting this was an issue on my corporate Mac.
