Denver PD is reopening at least 13 SA cases after the investigation into Missy Woods' work at the state crime lab. She's been sentenced to 10 years in prison for altering #DNA lab results. Roughly 10% of her caseload is suspect, some 1,045 cases.

This exoneration is excellent news. I note though that because of junk science and law enforcement incompetence, Eugene Garner's killer will likely never be prosecuted.
