@avatastic@avatastic.uk @FediTips@social.growyourown.services my bet RE: the first domino was how BlueSky Moderation gave Jesse Singal the five-star treatment, all despite outcry from trans users telling them that he’s a bad-faith actor and a serial harasser a lot of other awful enshittification nonsense—e.g. constantly banning Palestinian accounts on-sight (even when proven to be verified), allowing the Trump regime to make tons of official accounts—seemed to all flow down from there

🚨 EMERGENCY - EVICTION LOOMING 🚨

Charlotte and Peggy’s eviction grows increasingly imminent the longer that they owe rent to their landlord

donations have stagnated and Charlotte still hasn’t found work despite constantly applying; she’s terrified

$596 is still needed (including the $100 late fee) to keep two struggling trans women housed, and another $800 to replace their car tires!

$1504/$2900

@avatastic@avatastic.uk @FediTips@social.growyourown.services yeahhhhh he’s a terrible dude; one of those reactionary centrists who helped make transphobic propaganda palatable to the mainstream media and all of that effort on the mods’ part made no difference because he wrote up a post shittalking the site not long after seeing how many users blocked him en masse https://www.transgendermap.com/issues/topics/media/jesse-singal/biography/

@angelfeast@blorbo.social I heard it regularly while the conclave was happening last year, and even then I had to remind myself that that’s his real name and that nobody saying it was fucking with me

@angelfeast@blorbo.social fair tbh! I think Conclave (2024) was actually used as a point of reference for the real one b/c many cardinals were too young for the last conclave to know what to do I wish was a fly on the wall for them watching it and discovering the wonderful existence of pope yaoi
