Wait, but wasn’t this always how Gmail worked? You get free email, they get to read it all to profile you. At least here you see some value from it. I don’t get the concern.
I think that in the age of AI, it’s important to celebrate _why Day and what programming can mean to us as an art form.
That doesn’t mean AI isn’t useful. It means that the art and the utility of programming aren’t as related as they used to be. This is a natural evolution of all useful things but still a loss to be felt, as practitioners.
