The heatwaves continue, but we did have enough respite days to pop by doggy day care once or twice this week.

I got my puppy a new fluffy dog bed so she has one for each first floor window. She is enjoying keeping an eye on the neighbourhood from her new extremely comfy guard post.

Abbie has just returned from the vet with the news that the persistent mucus cough that's been worrying me sick since before Easter was just a very treatable throat infection, but more importantly that 🎉 THIS BEAUTIFUL PUP HAS HIT HER DIET GOAL! 🎉
She is now officially Not A Chonk for the first time in three years. Of course we're celebrating with extra treats.
I'm supposed to take her out for her late night poo, but I can't bring myself to disturb her.
It's one of those days at doggy day care where the other dogs on the field just need a little extra encouragement to form up into a herd.
We don't usually pay much attention to Crufts, because the judges in the Pastoral group tend to make a lot of errors in their selection of the winning breeds, but we note that they appear to have gotten it right this year. Congratulations to cousin Hazel!
