Random thought: People always say "Don't use optical media for archives, it won't last and degrades!" - and I say: pah! Humbug! What is true however: No matter what format you chose, chances are very high that you won't find a working drive to read it after a few years. I'm facing the issue of my BD-writer failing and there seems to be no new drives out there already. Go look for "internal BD Writer"... it's pathetic.
