@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org Oh god. We’re the Spaceballs in Spaceballs.

@HailsandAles@metalhead.club Yep, curation is key. Find your interests. And it sometimes means you have to search a bit and then you find a cluster of accounts that all boost each other and comment on each other. On that note, I had a friend ask me about #kpop fandoms on the fedi the other day and so I humbly ask for recommendations to follow so I can pass them on. Second side note: I recommend #Monsterdon and #HashtagGames for shenanigans. Third side!note: are we still doing follow fridays? Maybe we can get something like that going, especially if it’s interest-centric. Do it on a Saturday on an Any-day, let’s go. Like, follow this account for indie rock or 80’s mecha anime. (I need to continue #Macross. It’s literally free on YouTube or it was)

@flowerpot@mas.to Surprising for Monsterdon movies, I mean. This might be quality. Like critters and piranha.

@flowerpot@mas.to I’m just looking at it and it looks promising! I see a young Robert Beltran in this and a surprisingly high rotten tomatoes rating.

@RickiTarr The Procastinator

Resident Evil was awesome! I was scared, I was highly amused, I related to the lovable dude who didn’t know what to do with guns and padlocks. But he did learn and got quite creative. Well played. Felt very fresh to have a protagonist who interacts with the concept of zombies are surprised and bumbling as we, the audience, would. Can recommend. Might one day make a fine entry to #Monsterdon in many, many years, though I must point out that it is actually quality. #Film #Movies #ResidentEvil

I want that couch, or to know a place that has such a couch, and coffee. #Monsterdon #NightOfTheComet

@joeinwynnewood@mstdn.social @peteriskrisjanis@toot.lv @Kierkegaanks@beige.party @RickiTarr@beige.party Am I reading this correctly as “everyone who stayed loved the cult leader”? It’s kind of interesting though because this 100% number also implies that whoever is comfortable enough to signal doubts leaves right away. Tout-de-suite. Otherwise, you’d see a number smaller than 100%. My guess is once you question dear leader, you are made to feel very unwelcome by your peers so you either take it back or run.

That movie made me happy. Such a silly little movie. #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

Wait, yes that’s it. #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

The teens will be saved by the SCP foundation? #Monsterdon

Egon, I liked you when you got rid of those college kids, but I need you to learn about consent. Friendship with Egon is canceled. #Monsterdon

That’s a nice pool they got there. I recommend swimming there instead of in the green, monster-infested waters. #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

This girl dreams of the best bathrooms. #Monsterdon #NightofTheComet

This is like a TOS fight but wayyyy slower! #Monsterdon

We’re all made of stardust, especially Doris and Chuck. #Monsterdon #NightOfTheComet

She does not look terrible! Her hair is perfectly done and voluminously curly. #Monsterdon #NightOfTheComet

Also, unrelated, it is #BandcampFriday Nice, nice.

Wait. John has a pocket on his swimming trunks? Jealous. #Monsterdon #Pockets

The slow walk up the stairs in the bathrobe and sunglasses. #Monsterdon

@floatybirb@mastodon.social No extra points for the dancing?

Hey armed party-poopers! Girls just wanna have fun! #Monsterdon #NightOfTheComet

I do appreciate your creativity, Egon. I think that too on your face is probably quite moisturizing and we can harness it for use in skin care products #Monsterdon

I appreciate the continuity involved in reusing that towel from the first scene. On the other hand… #Monsterdon

“That killed me.” Us, too, said the audience after that dance #Monsterdon

More music! The fricking arms again! Oh this dance gets even weirder. #Monsterdon

I had to drop off for a most delicious dinner so I missed it all, and the tv in its wisdom turned off. #Monsterdon

I don’t think flippers make you faster in water that shallow, but what do I know. #Monsterdon

There was an upside down butt? #Monsterdon

I take back what I said about the pool being safe. #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

I love the soundtrack on this. DUUUUM (reveals corpse under tarp) #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

“I love working with kids” #Monsterdon

That wallpaper is a crime though. So many small flowers. #Monsterdon

Eh, I fast forwarded to be somewhat caught up. Had to catch up to the ska. #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

Sup Egon! I see I’m slightly behind the rest of you. #Monsterdon

@shakespearean_Insults@beige.party It’s such a funny insult but the context is so sad. The young fried egg of treachery did nothing wrong.

I kind of like these swamps in the sunlight. #Monsterdon

So Egon’s brilliant research is just lost in the Everglades? #Monsterdon

@broadwaybabyto I don’t intend to forget what that man did. I want him to face the legal punishment he deserves (jail, all the jail, no more job) but even in the absence thereof, I think he’ll never really “get away with it” in the sense that so many of his fellow human beings know he’s guilty. And he knows it. He knows deep down that any person passing him on the street might be thinking “murderer”.

“Come here.” The zombie couldn’t be bothered to make a full effort and I find that endearing. #Monsterdon

Maybe someone could make a sequel where fragments of Egon’s crazy research float ashore, and some enterprising young scientist gets a bit too curious and cell becomes the next mister jellyfish. That way, they can come up with some pseudo science to explain Egon’s transformation because we’re left with very little here. I would watch it. #Monsterdon

Egon is not sneaking up on people. People are simply not awake. #Monsterdon

Is it advisable to bite a zombie in defense #Monsterdon #NightofTheComet

Ok, from below, the baggies do look more like jellyfish, but from the top, they’re not convincing me. #Monsterdon

So since I couldn’t finish #NightOfTheComet earlier, I convinced the family to watch it from the start. It was very satisfying. Great soundtrack, much neon. #Monsterdon

Those neon green pants are sooo nice. I forgive this movie already little. #Monsterdon #StingOfDeath1966

There are no jellyfish! The young people from the university must have partaken of some extra substances off screen. #Monsterdon

@klu9@ohai.social Darn, now I’m sorry I missed it. How does it compare?
