Modern Capitalism (or Corporatism) is merely a form of Neo Feudalism but the feudalism of fiction, the exalted God Kings unchallenged & unbothered by consequences or competition, heady in their sense of personal freedom because they are the one "true being".

Stripping rights & choices from the masses enshrines their wealth & sense of divinity, a worthless cult of self to cover up all other failings.

@ZachWeinersmith one of the best cider makers I know is a complete teetotaller. He makes it partly because is a family tradition but mostly because it's an exercise in control and pure chemistry. I also don't drink, so have no idea if what he makes is any good.

@MCDuncanLab@mstdn.social Monk Fruit tends to be best with desserts, less aftertaste but stevia is fine. Stevia is better with fruits and yoghurts but good as a general replacement if you don't get the after taste that some people do. Also good in tea as a sugar replacement.
