OK guys, I think I might just move to my V Continuum account, I can just migrate from this over to there. I know this thing is supposed to get fixed, but I just don't need to be dealing with posts not coming in until like 12 hours later, and other lagginess. I'll just migrate over and mark this account as moved, so that if for whatever reason I do have to use this I can just log in, but hopefully nothing else happens on the other instance, which thankfully there's not been too many fryings over there.

But if Stu and I can provide a better option then so be it.

@jackf723@mastodon.social @fireborn@dragonscave.space @keao@caneandable.social Yeah, although I do wanna make my own Thrive mobile app, well actually I already started on that, but I've started on the Mastodon side of things, but when I do get round to it I will add a Messages or Chats tab which will have both Thrive Messenger and also direct mentions from Mastodon. I need to figure out the best way of doing that though, but that's definitely on the cards.

For instance a lot of the buttons that are in the main window will eventually be moved into either the menu bar or context menus.

But hopefully we can do it in a way like how Facebook originally used XMPP for Messenger years ago before being stupid and doing their own shit. Basically Stu and I are trying to implement it in a way that users don't have to think about the protocols behind the scenes, they just create their account, log in and boom, it works.
