Me & the boys out last week. Haven’t managed it this week due to the slippery nature of #shropshire roads. #cycling #cyclinguk

Aha! The Christmas Cold has arrived. Drip, sniffle...😂
Morning? Anyone out there?

@davewalker@mastodon.social @Dasy2k1@mastodonapp.uk can’t argue with that. Have been in long lines of riders and it’s very dangerous indeed. It’s always a shifting scenario on the road and hard & fast rules don’t always work and that’s one of the reasons motorists get the rage, they read roads differently.

@davewalker@mastodon.social totally get the logic of this but in practice many of our roads are so narrow (Shropshire) that it’s sometimes difficult to hold that outside position without feeling vulnerable to oncoming traffic, especially vans, lorries and large pickup SUVs, which sit close to the white line.
Monday morning & I wasn’t up with the lark today 😂
